George Steinmetz made the aerial pictures for this story from his motorized paraglider. SAHARA - everyone knows this is a vast deposit of sands and stones, a desert. Rarely it is known to people that an ecological niche is thriving when rain comes and soon the people deserted the place when there is none. They are adapting to the changes in their environment.
